This toy amazes me for the quality and price. I\u2019ve spent far more on a toy that isn\u2019t as great. Don\u2019t get me wrong, high-quality brands like Lelo have some incredible toys (trust me, I own them)…but Tracy\u2019s Dog<\/a> has seemingly taken the world by storm in the last few years and have already managed to release a line of toys that are rivaling companies that were more well-known and had been around longer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This 2 in 1 toy, in particular, has caught so much attention and for very good reason: it\u2019s well-made, affordable, and non-threatening to look at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be a toy for first-timers (who begin to feel more comfortable with the use of the toy since everyone is talking about it) or it can be a toy for a more experienced person to use when they need a \u201csure thing\u201d…because trust me, this is a sure thing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A year-long warranty. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The warranty on this toy is fairly typical – 12 months. Most reputable sex toy brands like Lelo or WeVibe have similar warranty plans for most of their toys, so this is nothing super new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ordered this toy on a Friday (from Amazon US) and by the following Thursday, it had arrived. Considering I ordered this during a global pandemic and it arrived in less than a week to a different country (I\u2019m based in Europe and the toy was sold out where I live), I am very impressed with this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And my satisfaction with the delivery didn\u2019t stop there. The packaging of this product was so sleek and discrete. A simple black box with silver lettering on it. Nothing fancy, nothing over-the-top. It was the kind of simple that made it feel luxurious, kind of like a Tiffany\u2019s jewelry box. Upon opening, I noticed the toy was very well packaged, fitted firmly in the soft fabric which held it snug in its place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the instruction manual explains the toy needs up to 2 hours to charge, the toy did come with some charge on it (as they always do). Of course, you should charge any toy to full power before using it, so I eagerly plugged it in and waited. To my surprise, the toy was charged to full capacity in under an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From nearly dead to ready-for-action in less than two hours. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the first weeks of using this toy, I used it a lot. More on that later, because I seriously fell in love with it – but of course with each use, the battery drained until I could notice it just wasn\u2019t giving all it had anymore. It was time for a recharge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I wasn\u2019t waiting patiently next to it with a stop-watch, I\u2019d say it took a little less than an hour for those blinking dim lights to turn solid, indicating the toy was ready to use again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once I repositioned the toy, I realized it was actually pretty quiet. Again, I wouldn\u2019t go as far as \u201cwhisper quiet\u201d as some other toys can be – but I would say maybe a 4 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being really noisy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ease of use – it\u2019s almost perfect.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of my favorite things about this toy, which I\u2019ll get into more throughout this article, is that it can be relatively hands-free, which just isn\u2019t common with a women\u2019s toy that offers clitoral stimulation. I find with many of my toys, especially the ones that are clitoral stimulators, I have to hold it in position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this particular toy, once the suction is in the correct spot, it really doesn\u2019t move around too much. During my quest, I realized some other interesting things about Tracy\u2019s Dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of their toys are made from silicone<\/strong>, which is great. Silicone is body-safe and pretty easy to clean. Upon receiving this particular toy, I relished the fact that there was no pungent smell involved. As someone who orders a fair amount of toys, you may be surprised at how smelly some of the packages are – but what I\u2019ve noticed is that silicone-made products very rarely have strong odors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost all of their vibrating toys have between 7-10 different modes or functions.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And from what I\u2019ve read, it\u2019s not like it\u2019s the same patterns and intensities all across the board with all the toys. While I\u2019m sure there is some overlap, each toy seems to have a few features that make it stand out from the rest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They offer more than just pink or purple color choices.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this may be low down on someone\u2019s list, I\u2019m kind of peeved that most sex toys are sold in bright pink or purple colors. I love when a brand offers a toy in a cooler tone like light blue or something vibrant and different like yellow and it\u2019s great when you get the option for an all-black toy – and Tracy\u2019s Dog offers all of those options it seems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one I found particularly interesting. On their website, they note that they are \u201creinventing sex wellness for modern women.\u201d Scrolling around, I found some other female-only references such as saying their goal was to \u201camplify the female orgasm.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I personally have nothing against this, I did find it very interesting that Tracy\u2019s Dog would kind of \u201cpigeon hole\u201d themselves into only female toys. I suppose it\u2019s all marketing strategy – they want to appeal to the audience that will best fit their toys. They create stellar female sex toys – so that\u2019s what they market for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a heavy focus on being \u201cnon-vulgar\u201d and easy to use. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Across their socials and their website, you may notice a trend: \u201cour vibrators are sleek, modern and non-vulgar\u201d or \u201cgreat for someone who is new to the world of sex toys.\u201d I personally think this is great. I can tell you from experience that searching online for sex toys can be intimidating  and shopping in-stores can be confusing, especially if it\u2019s your first toy purchase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting themselves as a company who puts comfort and ease before anything else is a good move on their part and I think it may be one of the reasons this toy (and others in their line) have really taken off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While sparkly butt-plugs<\/a> (that have also been taking over the NSFW internet) and larger dildos have a time and place, there is something to be said about non-threatening visuals from a sex toy company – they know their key demographic is the modern woman who is maybe just coming into her sexual stride, so they target their look to that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial impressions of this toy vs long-term use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s easy to get swept away in the excitement of a new toy, trust me. When this thing arrived, I was thrilled. I couldn\u2019t wait to test it out. I gave myself a few weeks to test this toy and within that time I\u2019ve used it more times than I could count.
